By the end of this lesson, you can ask about weekend plans, say what you would like to do, and invite a friend to join you.
上完這堂課，你可以詢問週末計畫、說出想做的事，並邀請朋友一起喝咖啡、吃台灣菜或逛夜市。

你喜歡什麼？
Nǐ xǐhuān shénme?
What do you like?
我喜歡咖啡。你呢？
Wǒ xǐhuān kāfēi. Nǐ ne?
I like coffee. How about you?
我也喜歡咖啡。
Wǒ yě xǐhuān kāfēi.
I like coffee too.
Ask a classmate about their interests before talking about weekend plans.
先問同學喜歡什麼，再開始聊週末想做的事。

Nǐ zhōumò xiǎng zuò shénme?
What would you like to do this weekend?
我想喝咖啡。
Wǒ xiǎng hē kāfēi.
I'd like to have coffee.
我想吃台灣菜。
Wǒ xiǎng chī Táiwān cài.
I'd like to eat Taiwanese food.
我想看電影。
Wǒ xiǎng kàn diànyǐng.
I'd like to watch a movie.
2. 你想去哪裡？
Where Would You Like to Go?
你想去哪裡？
Nǐ xiǎng qù nǎlǐ?
Where would you like to go?
我想去夜市。
Wǒ xiǎng qù yèshì.
I'd like to go to a night market.
我想逛夜市。
Wǒ xiǎng guàng yèshì.
I'd like to explore a night market.
「去夜市」強調去的地方；「逛夜市」是到夜市走走、看看。
去夜市 means going to a night market. 逛夜市 means walking around and exploring it.

好啊！
Hǎo a!
Sure!
不好意思，我週末要上班。
Bù hǎoyìsi, wǒ zhōumò yào shàngbān.
Sorry, I have to work this weekend.
Practise the last sentence as a complete expression for politely declining an invitation.

One Useful Grammar Point
想 + 動作｜xiǎng + action
Use 想 to say what you would like to do.
用「想」表達你想做的事。
我喜歡喝咖啡。
Wǒ xǐhuān hē kāfēi.
I like drinking coffee.
我想喝咖啡。
Wǒ xiǎng hē kāfēi.
I'd like to have coffee.
「喜歡」表示喜好；「想」表示意願。
喜歡 describes a preference; 想 expresses a wish or intention.
Lesson 1 的「嗎」也可以用在「好嗎？」；Lesson 3 的「也」可以用在「我也想去」。
Reuse 嗎 from Lesson 1 in 好嗎？ and 也 from Lesson 3 in 我也想去。

團體練習
Group Practice
Choose one activity. Take turns asking your classmates about their weekend plans. Find someone who wants to do the same activity, then invite them to join you.
選一個活動，輪流詢問同學的週末計畫。找到想做相同活動的人，再邀請對方一起去。
A：你週末想做什麼？
B：我想 ______。你呢？
A：我也想 ______。我們一起去，好嗎？
B：好啊！
Change partners and try again. In the second round, one student can politely decline.
換同學再練習一次。第二輪可以加入婉拒邀約的回答。

Final Challenge
Have a 30-second conversation without looking at the English translation. Ask about weekend plans, say what you would like to do, and invite your partner. Your partner can accept or politely decline.
不看英文，完成約 30 秒的對話：詢問週末計畫、說出想做的事，再邀請同學。同學可以接受或婉拒。
