1. 你好

Nǐ hǎo · Hello

A simple and friendly greeting.

最基本也最友善的打招呼方式。

2. 謝謝

Xièxie · Thank you

You'll use this everywhere — restaurants, shops, taxis, and markets.

在餐廳、商店、計程車和市場都很常用。

3. 不好意思

Bù hǎoyìsi · Excuse me / Sorry

Use it to get someone's attention, pass through a crowd, or politely interrupt.

想請別人注意、借過，或禮貌打擾別人時都可以說。

4. 這個

Zhège · This one

Point to something and say “這個.” Very useful when you don't know the name.

不知道東西名稱時，指著它說「這個」就很好用。

5. 我要這個

Wǒ yào zhège · I'd like this one

A practical phrase for restaurants, night markets, and stores.

在餐廳、夜市或商店都可以直接使用。

6. 多少錢？

Duōshǎo qián? · How much is it?

Useful at traditional markets and small shops.

逛傳統市場或小店時非常實用。

7. 不要辣

Bú yào là · Not spicy, please

Use this when ordering food if you don't want chili.

點餐時不想吃辣，可以直接說「不要辣」。

8. 洗手間在哪裡？

Xǐshǒujiān zài nǎlǐ? · Where is the restroom?

A travel essential.

旅行一定會用到的一句話。

9. 捷運站在哪裡？

Jiéyùn zhàn zài nǎlǐ? · Where is the MRT station?

Useful when exploring Taipei and other cities with MRT systems.

在台北或有捷運的城市旅行時很好用。

10. 我聽不懂

Wǒ tīng bù dǒng · I don't understand

Say it with a smile. Most people will slow down, repeat, or find another way to help.

笑著說「我聽不懂」，對方通常會放慢速度、再說一次，或換個方式幫你。
